Seems fairly sturdy, some minor blemishes that we noticed, but will be in spots (underside) or are so minor it's only apparent to my eyes (turned it towards corner of kitchen where ppl don't see the side, but you can only see it in bright light if you're really looking).. A solid bar table even though it is not real wood. It will serve as extra seating space in the soon-to-be-built bar. A few pings in the table top, but on the underside, so I can easily live with them. (The box was terribly beat up when delivered, at no fault of Wayfair, but rather from the mishandling by the carrier-- which is where I assume the pings came from.) Took my man about an hour to build. Was fairly easy and looks soooo modern. It is very sturdy and has a soft finish.
