It’s a bit shorter than I was thinking it would be. Maybe I assumed it would be counter height. It’s beautiful but I am going to have to add some height with leg extensions because you can’t use the eat at bar with counter height stools. But it’s gorgeous. I’m really happy with this island! Every single part is solid wood (pine), the finish is lovely - even and applied well. The legs are solid and substantial The top is thick, and my piece didn’t have any joinery issues at all. It was easy to put together, just read through the instructions beforehand a couple of times. It’s a substantial piece of furniture. I like the color and I like the dimensions. I wish that it had come in one piece and not had to be put together, but I’m sure it was too big to ship. My only other qualm is the drawers… They’re not soft close and you have to push them in and then give them another hard push to get them to close completely.
