I really do like this laundry hamper. It is functional but looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. No more hiding an ugly hamper in the closet. It would be at home in any room of my house. I am using it as a laundry hamper with one tilt out basket for colors and the other for whites to have my clothes all sorted before heading to the laundry room. The removable cloth baskets are also washable and the perfect size for one load in my washer when full. This would work equally as well for trash/recycling bins, or even toy bins among other applications. I have the dark gray woodgrain color and there is also white available. The hardware for the two spacious drawers and tilt out bins are black metal. I never would have been able to attach the hardware myself though. My husband had to add washers to the knobs on the drawers to make them fit. Then he had to use a power drill to make the holes deeper to attach the pulls for the bins which is why I only gave four stars. It was very frustrating until he found a way to do this. Be warned that when you open the box there are many, many pieces to assemble. It took me two long sessions to do this by myself (except for the hardware) as I am not very acquainted with furniture assembly. Be sure to have your own screwdriver handy as one is not included.
