I'm using it as a small office/desk. I had assemblers/handymen put it together and it took about 1.5 hours for 2 guys - that cost $220. I did not use the hanger/clothes pole. I got 2 black laminate shelves from Menards that are 12" deep to use as additional storage (see photo - top 2 shelves are NOT included in the purchase - I added these such that I can store more office supplies). I also had a hole put through the back of the unit for my printer cord which will sit on the top of the drawer. My laptop will go on center shelf. Cost of chest is very effective and materials are not the greatest but it does not look cheap when completed. I wouldn't store this anywhere with high humidity.
