The stairs are not attached but I put anti slip tape on the bottom and it’s working great. My dog is very heavy and rough and he’s making it work. The bottom part comes w a cat scratching thing, we just left it in there and put a blanket over it for comfiness. We really like this and the price here is less by like 50.. Anonymous.
