Give your feline the gift of year-round comfort with the Heated Dog House, engineered for dogs who live or spend time outdoors. The built-in, thermostatically controlled heating pad maintains a safe, cozy temperature even when the mercury drops below freezing, while the 6-sided insulated liner—stuffed with 0.78" high-density sponge and wrapped in wipe-clean, PVC-coated fabric—locks in warmth and blocks cold drafts. The liner removes in seconds and is fully machine-washable, so maintenance is effortless. Cats love to scratch and chew, so we wrapped the entire structure in a rugged, powder-coated iron frame that stands up to claws and teeth. The slanted, asphalt-shingled roof sheds rain, sleet, and snow, keeping the interior dry during the harshest storms. At 58 lbs, this sturdy shelter stays put in high winds yet is light enough to reposition as seasons change. One adult can sit on the roof without bending the frame—proof that this house is built to last.
So far, so good. We put this together in our house which created quite a mess from all the shingles but regardless, wanted to get the dogs excited about going inside it. It heats well, though have noticed the heating elements don’t either fully go thru the bottom pad or they’re just not spread throughout it. Dogs seem to like it but the true test will be to see if they go in it once it’s outside.. Dana. Sherwood, OR. Thu Dec 25 2025
