This is a beautiful set of flatware with a classy look. It would work with many different styles of dinnerware. For me, it was a no brainer since even my stemware had the same black and gold trim. There is a downside you should be aware of when making a decision about buying. There is only one fork in each place setting, and the areas where the gold and black meet is a potential for rough spots. My biggest issue is with the tablespoon. It is oddly weighted more to the bowl than the handle so a little awkward. It’s also larger and heavier than the typical tablespoon. All that aside, I’m happy my purchase and would buy it again..
