I’m reviewing these cabinets, but I’ve just put them together and I’m trying to figure out the best way to hang them. They were very easy to put together and they seem sturdy enough. Definitely worth the $119 I paid, and should serve my purpose for garage cabinets. The reason I gave them four stars has to do with how they recommend hanging the cabinets. I’m not comfortable with hanging them on the sheet rock with anchors. I’d like to be able to screw them directly to the studs in the wall, but the pre-drilled supports on the back of the cabinets are not spaced for standard stud spacing in a home, which is 16 inches on center. I think I’ll secure a 1 X2 anchored to the wall studs underneath the row of cabinets so that will bear the weight of the cabinets and their contents versus the wall anchor.. David. Loudon, TN. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with this cabinet. It did arrive with one panel slightly bent, but my husband was able to lightly tap it with a hammer back into shape. It was carefully packaged well, but it is very heavy, and arrived by freight, so some bending is probably inevitable. We are using this in the garage, so we don’t mind a couple small dings. My husband said the assembly was relatively simple. There were a lot of pieces and it took about 2 hrs to put together. The drawers are smooth, and lock well— same for the cabinet doors. This is the second Seville cabinet we have gotten and I would buy more. They are sturdy and have great directions and simple design which make them easy to assemble for 1 person. 1 issue with this 24" version is that the holes for cables in the back are too small for most of our 3 prong power cables - the hole is too small if there is even a small tip attached to end piece - many of our power cables have multiple outlets so we need to pass the male end through and they generally don't fit. The other thing to note - but definitely not of much concern to us, was that the little grey "EZ assembly" (something like that) pieces cannot just be pushed in by hand. We had to hammer them as part of the door hanging which is the only place we used them. The cabinets came in perfect condition and were easy to assemble with one person. They look great and seem to be of good quality.
