It’s such an amazing couch and it made me so happy! The assembly took me almost the whole afternoon but I’m slow. I judge it’s really more of a two people job really. Some of the screws socket were a bit difficult to put together because of the misalignment between pieces if you tighten one part of the screw too tight and misplace the other, but with a little bit of force everything does come together fairly easily.. I was really happy that the sofa was delivered earlier than the scheduled delivery date. Since it’s a heavy item, Wayfair included free delivery and setup right in my preferred room, which made the whole process super convenient. They also called at least 30 minutes before arrival to make sure someone was home, which I really appreciated. The delivery team was very nice and polite. They brought it all the way up to my third-floor apartment and set it up quickly without any issues. The sofa itself is manual recline, but it’s very smooth and easy to use. You can even recline it almost flat, which is perfect if you want to take a quick nap or just fully relax. The fabric feels soft and slightly velvety, but it doesn’t seem like it will attract dirt easily. It is a bit on the firmer side, like some other reviews mentioned, but still very comfortable for lounging and watching TV in the living room. They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did. I honestly love this couch way more than I expected to. The green velvet color is gorgeous in person — it gives that moodyjewel-tone vibe without looking too dark or cheap. It completely elevated my apartment aesthetic and became the centerpiece of my living room immediately. The size worked really well for my space too since I’m in an apartment and didn’t want something massive or overwhelming. It has that modern, clean look while still feeling cozy. The velvet is soft, the tufting looks expensive, and it photographs insanely well. Assembly was pretty straightforward overall. I was able to get it together without wanting to launch myself into another dimension, which already gives it bonus points. One thing I did NOT expect is how weirdly easy this fabric is to clean. I’ve gotten spills, stains, marker, and even BBQ sauce out of it using just cool water and a tiny bit of dish soap. I was honestly convinced some of those stains were permanent and they came right out without ruining the fabric or color. That alone makes this couch worth it to me because life happens and I didn’t want something high-maintenance. Comfort-wise, I’d say it’s more supportivefirm than cloud-soft, but I actually prefer that because it keeps the couch looking structured instead of saggy after a few months. Great for lounging, gaming, scrolling for hours, or having friends over. For the price, I genuinely think it looks much more expensive than it is.
