The standard bulb (sold separately) is ensconced inside the textured glass globe shade, so the ambient light is softly diffused. For convenience, charge your devices in the built-in USB port located right on the base. This accent lamp is a great luminary for your desk, end table, or nightstand. Some assembly is required.
