• The two most common dining chairs' seat height ranges are 18"-23" and 24"-26". This is because chairs are most often paired with these most common types of tables, these are standard-height tables which are 28"-30" high, or counter-height tables which are 34"-36" high. For the tables, we recommend allowing for at least 12" of space between the seat of your chair and the tabletop. If your table has an apron, there should be 7" of space between the top of the seat and the bottom of the apron.
