• Lafayette derives from Southern France and was used to describe those living near a beech tree, hence why Lafayette stands so tall and strong. If Lafayette were a man, he would resemble a man with years of knowledge of the past and how it translates to the present. Many would think of him as a grandfatherly figure - a major piece of the family tree that has transformed over time, but not too much as he has to bridge the roots and origins of the family to his newest, littlest family members.
• A semi-aniline leather with a distressed, oily pull-up that features a natural grain and a light sheen, highlighting the handcrafted nature of leather with its aged appeal.
• Foot stain: Weathered.
• Frames are bench-made from cross-directional engineered hardwood.
• All upholstery is hand-sewn onto the frame to ensure a perfect fit.
