Pretty substantial and a bit heavy but not to point you can’t move it around. I think it’s because it’s reinforced and can hold up to a 330 lbs person. The color is beautiful and the detachable cushion looks like it can easily be washed. It glides easily back and forwards. There are two locking ring mechanisms just under each hand rest that don’t seem to work well. Maybe I received a defective one however , it doesn’t make a difference. I think I like that it doesn’t lock, I like to jump up when I’m ready and if locked in recline position, it would probably annoy me! The headrest cushion is on a heavy duty thick elastic band and easily moves up and down to the position that suits you and it stays in place once positioned. Overall a great deck or beach chair. It's easy to tote around since it has a clip to keep it closed and also straps so you can wear it as a backpack n keep your hands free. It has a little side pouch for your drink another space to put a phone or possibly sunscreen. It even has a spot that zips up so you can stick your keys or anything else compact that you may not want to be seen. It's comfortable to sit in and best of all it reclines so that you can lay down in it. Also it has a little hole cut out so you could even lay face down and still be comfortably reading a book or scrolling through your phone. I have seen other chairs like this but the ones I have seen do not have that feature so this one is would definitely be the first one I would recommend to anyone looking for a new beach chair..
