This shed was super easy to assemble. I am a 5' 3" 67 year old female and it took me an hour and 45 minutes to complete. Approximately 15 minutes of that was sorting and verifying parts. The instructions suggested two people to assemble floor, and that probably would have helped, but I was able to do it myself. My foundation was already in place. Getting the sides to slide into the slots properly required a rubber mallet. Finished product holds my self-propelled snow blower and my Snow Joe battery operated snow blower with extra room.. Terry. The product arrives in two long, flat boxes. The packing was sufficient for the most part except for the triangular pieces that are part of the roof. They were dented and scratched, but I didn’t think it was worth my time and trouble to try to have them replaced, so I pounded out the dents with a rubber mallet. The flaws are visible, but not as bad as how they came. Each piece of metal is covered with plastic film that should be removed before assembly, which takes a lot of time and patience, but once removed the metal surfaces are very clean with a good coating. Assembly definitely requires two people and several hours since there are over 300 screws, but once assembled, the structure is very solid. I was impressed with the engineering. All of the screw holes lined up and the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I built a wooden deck with 2x6 treated joists and treated plywood for the floor and screwed the base to that. One mishap can throw assembly into chaos. Bring your power tools and drill. I had to drill for couple of misplaced holes. I had to build elevated wood foundation so keep that in mind. Keep your screws in the bag they came in...mines were all over the place. Lower your expectations. This is not a solid wood shed with more sturdy material. I had to add weather strip to the doors (large gap in between). Other than that Im not too disappointed. Putting together is just a tedious process. Take your time and go step by step. This is a great shed! As a 5’2 woman with a 5’8 hubs, it does feel a little short height wise but perfect for us. We did decide to run 1x4’s around the middle to give the walls some extra support. Love this shed!! Im a female and I put this together by myself. It was an all day long project but I worked slow, took my time and took breaks but I was finished in the same day I started. I would highly recommend a magnetic drill bit to hold the screw, i did not use one so between that and having long nails it took up much more time than need be had i just used a magnetic drill bit but lesson learned lol. Every hole lined up perfectly and the directions were so simple and easy step by step. The directions reminded me of lego kit instructions, every page had what you needed on the top and the diagram build on the bottom, they were very easy to follow. The only part that got me was once I got to the roof I assumed the washers were the same ones I used for the whole side walls and to my suprise they were the other washers (silicone) so word to the wise, when you get to the roof and see the little washers on the directions just know they mean the silicone ones, once I realized i took the roof off and fixed it with no problem. was able to assemble by myself . Make sure you have a level surface prior to starting. I found it helpful to watch some videos ahead of assembly. Metal is this and some holes could strip if you over tighten but that’s with anything. I wish the door handles were closer for the locking I ended up purchasing a separate latch and lock ..
