I really like this awning. It's easy to assemble and install. I did not take into account that it is NOT hail resistant. A hail storm ruined the panels, as hail went right through the panels. This is a product that is patented, modular, DIY, and hand-crafted. The framework is made out of a beautiful commercial-grade mill finish aluminum that will not rust. The projection arms are made out of iron, designed with an ornate pointed spear, and painted black. The hardware is stainless steel and provides additional support to the durable frame. The awning fabric is woven out of the Beauty-Mark branded 100% acrylic fabric and has resistant coatings to help (1) maintain its rich color while being exposed to harsh UV rays, (2) prevent mildew and soil buildup, and (3) maintain a water-resistant barrier allows for rain to roll off of the awning and not soak through the fabric.
