Item is made of all-natural American maple, cherry, or black walnut wood. Walnut sapwood is white and John Boos uses all of the wood. It's a tone color of the wood and the tone of the wood varies within the tree itself. Variations in the final product are not defects and therefore not covered under our warranty.
