None of the reviews I read told me how soft this wood is. Our table has NEVER been without a tablecloth on it. Nevertheless, tiny pieces of salt got through and look at all the scratches! My mother’s table is over 20 years old and looks better than mine. I’m so disappointed with the poor quality! Also, one of the photos shows the wood on the chair has split. How did that happen It shouldn’t have. I wish I would have took my mother’s advice and went to the local furniture store. Is there anything I can do I mean I HAVENT EVEN HAD IT 6 MONTHS!

Got to the point of attaching the top to the bottom and find a gigantic crack in the wood. The crack is significant enough that styrofoam is compacted into the crack, giving it a ‘beautiful’ white stripe. I live in a single level home, 1600 ft. I had to ‘roll’ slowly into my entryway from the porch and have been opening the boxes there. It must have gotten dropped in shipping. Now I’ve got to figure out how to contact customer service.

The leaf in the center makes the table a perfect size! I like having the option to change size. Quality is good. Just be careful because the top can scratch easily,

We love the table and chairs! However, the screw on the inside of one of the chair legs was stripped and we were unable to put the screw into that whole. So we are currently down one chair

Nice looking, sturdy & heavy table and chairs. Took 3 weeks to be delivered. Table assembled easily in about 30 minutes. Love the butterfly leaf & works well! Chairs took over an hour to assemble, mostly because one bolt would not screw in. Husband finally got it to work. Haven't had it long enough yet to know how well the table surface will hold up to scratches & dents.
