Preassembled and ready to go. Some imperfections on the lid, but otherwise great.

Looks like a cheap product. Made of cheap light wood. Not finished.

We were looking forward to the new bench after purchasing another item from Wayfair. However, it arrived with cracks at each end of the lid (see photos 1 and 2). After submitting the photos, we were told a replacement would be sent. We later received an email stating that a replacement was not available. During subsequent text exchanges we received conflicting information about whether or not and when a replacement would be sent. We eventually received a phone call from someone who scheduled the replacement and followed up with a tracking number. We had high hopes, but when we opened the box we found that the replacement was damaged worse than the original. See photos 3 and 4 to observe the displaced fracture of the lid. (The other side also had a hairline fracture.) Since this was a replacement, there was on longer a "Report a Problem" button available for the order. So we went back to the text stream to report the problem in detail. The only response we received was: "I'm sorry for the bad experience." Oh, thank you -- but what am I supposed to do with the two damaged benches taking up space in my garage? The Salvation Army won't accept damaged furniture for donation. We'll probably just put them out on the curb and hope someone takes them away. We can chalk up the $400+ loss as tuition for the School of Hard Knocks.

Lovely piece, perfect if you've got a smaller living room. It's lightweight and has safety hinges. Love that there's no assembly required. It did arrive with a couple visible cracks in two corners, but I was happy to take the partial refund that Wayfair offers in such cases. Edit to add: If you want to organize the inside of the trunk, the Etta Avenue Bin Set of 2 (also on Wayfair, dimensions: 10'' H X 13'' W X 13'' D) fits perfectly, with some leftover space to store a blanket.

Great trunk! Beautiful carving, perfect size and nice hardware.

I was very pleased with my order. The storage trunk is beyond my expectations and incredibly lightweight and well made. The detail is so nice and my wife and I love it! Thank you Wayfair for making it available to us!

This trunk is BEAUTIFUL! I get compliments on it from everyone who comes in my house.

The chest is beautiful but it is damaged. There is a strip on top of the chest that looks unfinished and there is a crack that has been repaired.
