Narmada Rug

Narmada gets its name from the only Indian holy river to flow in the same west - east direction as the rug's tonal ivory stripes. Blended with merino for exceptional softness, the hand-spun yarn that comprise these irregular stripes is hand-knotted, then hand cut. The result is a balance of opposites: a pillowy pile that resembles the pebbled quartz river bed of the Narmada next to irregular, cut-pile stripes that evoke the flow of the river's fabled waters. This rug is indulgent and would work well in a bedroom, or as the foundation of your future sanctuary.
