Really happy with this bunk bed. It feels sturdy, doesn’t wobble around, and actually looks a lot nicer in person. I was worried a metal bunk bed would look cheap, but it has a clean modern look and works perfectly for teens or adults. Assembly took some time but the instructions were easy enough to follow. Once everything was put together it felt solid and secure. I also like that it doesn’t take up a ton of space while still giving plenty of room underneath and on the beds themselves. The frame is surprisingly quiet too … no annoying squeaking every time someone moves around. I was very apprehensive about purchasing a bed online because it’s hard to know what you’re actually getting without seeing it in person. I’m happy to report that this king bed exceeded my expectations! The bed is made of real wood, which was important to me, and it feels incredibly sturdy. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. The craftsmanship appears to be very good, the bed is sturdy, and it looks fantastic in our bedroom. I would absolutely purchase this bed again and would confidently recommend it to others. It was just what we needed, but then we moved....... We are still using it in our new place, but boy can I see what a space saver this would have been in her other room. Not that her current room is large or anything. My soon to be 9 year old daughter is enjoying it , but compared to another bunk I bought through wayfair, it is far less sturdy. I tried to jam it hard into a corner to add as much support as possible. My husband and I also double checked all the connections, but you can feel the pressure on the ladder as you climb up to the top. This bothers me a little, but she is still small enough. It might be a bigger issue for a teenager. For me, it is a notable issue, so I'll place this piece at a 4 star. However, overall, the piece does the trick on space saving with a desk included.
