Instructions were clear. It was what I was looking for and at a good price. Seems sturdy once assembled. Like anything this scale assembly takes time. Reason for 45 stars. Scratch on post. We ordered two of these beds for our girls and we absolutely love them! It took my husband and I about 4 hours to put both of them together. I did take off one star because one of our girls lights came damaged.At first we thought it was just the remote but the wiring was damaged as well. We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. Exactly as advertised. Mine came with covers on and it took 15 minutes to set up. There is a wooden frame that goes in n the bottom and then you zip it up and screw in the legs. Would be 5 stars if the cushions were sewn together. I worked around this by getting a queen mattress topper that can be easily stored. Otherwise it is difficult to use as a queen size bed since they are not connected and the 2 cushions move around. It is however great as 2 twin beds. Although one of the cushions is a lot thinner due to the legs. I also wish they sold the bolster pillows separately as I think it would be nice to have one on each side. What an incredible find?! We needed to replace the bunk bed at our cabin and were struggling to find a better alternative. Not only did the bed meet Our needs and price range, but thanks to the trundle, it saved so much space without losing any beds or the motif. Assembly was easy (took just under an hour with two people). We were missing two screws for one of the collapsible legs on the trundle, but it still works without that one bar. We already had two 6” mattresses from the old bunk bed, which we reused. It’s helpful for future buyers to know that the 6” was all we could get out of the trundle for it to roll in-and-out from under the bed frame with the comforter and sheets still on. Eventually, we added an 8” mattress to the top, which was even more comfortable and didn’t block the shelf on the headboard. Some of the other reviews say this unit is great as a children’s bed, which is true. But I’d like to add that a family friend and both my parents have used the beds (including my nearly 300 lb father) and it more than supports grown adults as well. My favorite features are the dual 110v outlets with a built-in USB charger, as well as the keyholes in the frame to convert both the trundle and top frame into a full without sliding apart mid-sleep. Only downside I’ve experienced is both frames squeak frequently, but the squeaking is not really enough to create a distraction or lose sleep over. Overall, this bed has been a smashing success. It looks great, supports kids and adults alike, and saves so much of space compared to other guest or bunk beds on the market.
