The chairs arrived in a very well packaged box, nothing was damaged in the shipping. Assembly is required. The chair backs and seats come assembled but they need to be assembled to the framework comprising the legs and back support. Also the arm rests need to be assembled. All needed bolts, washers and spacers were provided. Directions were clear and fairly easy to understand. Assembly was not difficult, but a bit tedious, the first chair took me about 45 mins to assemble but the time was reduced as I did the other three. The last chair took about 25 mins to assemble. They are beautiful and match perfectly a patio table I purchased from a different company. They also stack together very easily. Very pleased with the purchase.
