About This Product

This rug is a one-of-a-kind piece of global art that will update your living space. Bidjar, Iran is known internationally for its elegant and ancient carpets as well as its rug design. This bidjar pattern originates in Iran, however, the design of this rug was copied and re-created in the Bhadohi village in the Varanasi region of India by local weavers. The entire process of shearing, washing, dyeing, and weaving the rugs is done by village weavers. These rugs are virtually identical in design, workmanship, and authenticity to the originals.
