I really like this awning. It's easy to assemble and install. I did not take into account that it is NOT hail resistant. A hail storm ruined the panels, as hail went right through the panels. I ordered another one, because I really like the awning and its application. Cheap. Easy to install. I noticed small holes in the cover after approximately five years, but the support structure is still good. UV probably causes deterioration of the polycarbonate. The awning fabric is woven out of the Beauty-Mark branded 100% acrylic fabric and has resistant coatings to help (1) maintain its rich color while being exposed to harsh UV rays, (2) prevent mildew and soil buildup, and (3) maintain a water-resistant barrier allows for rain to roll off of the awning and not soak through the fabric.
