These are made of real wood, however, one of my shelves required me to stain it in areas where the original stain job was not the best. I happen to have stain that matched so it wasn’t a big deal. They were easy to mount and they gave you plenty of screws and anchors. They are pretty sturdy but the holes that the pegs slide into could be a bit smaller Which would reduce the slight wobble.
