I purchased the Quinnesec Propane Fire Pit Table on Dec. 30, 2023. I used customer service to place my order. I asked about the extended warrantee option and was told I had 9o days after purchase to add the warrantee if I wished. I received the table on Sunday, Jan 7. After seeing the size and weight, I decided to purchase the extended warrantee and tried to do so on line via Wayfair.com. I was unable to add it to my cart. I called customer service and they could not add was told it could only be purchased on line. I tried again with no success, I called C.S. again and eventually, a supervisor told me I had to go directly to Allstate Insurance and purchase from them. I went on line and found if I purchased directly through them it would cost an additiional $70 for the same coverage. I called customer service again, stating that Wayfair should stand behind their promises and allow me to purchase the extended warrantee as stated. I am very dissatisfied with this transaction and feel that Wayfair was dishonest and unwilling to help resolve the problem. I found that one way I could purchase the insurance, would be to return the 160 pound table and 3 other large boxes that came separately and purchase another one, buying insurance in the same transaction. This is way too much to expect from your customers. I would hope someone will reach out and make this right.
