It has 4 leather buckles in the back to attach it to the top leather pillow seat. Extremely nice leather with the brown and black shading. I thought the legs were going to be brass color, instead they are silver. The legs can adjust for uneven flooring. Very easy to put together. The packaging was not adequate because two corner were slightly separated but that's not the furniture's fault!
