I purchased this product for a modest indoor greenhouse located in a spare bedroom. The moss serves two purposes, 1 is to retain moisture and adequate humidity level for my humidity-loving plants (orchids ferns.) The second is to cover the metal shelves and improve appearance. But have you thought of putting “sun screen” on your plants!! ---- Provide shade cloth to cover your plants as a shelter, this will save you water and energy as well as make your plants grow faster and be healthier.
