I do not know whether to blame the chair or the white glove installation but I have never used an office chair that did not have some give in the back so that you can tilt at least slightly backwards. Without this the chair can be uncomfortable at times. Also there is a mechanism under the right side of the chair that performs no useful function as best as I can determine or maybe because of the way it was installed. Obviously I am not pleased with Wayfair or Maitland at this point

We bought two of these chairs for a partner desk. Exquisite!! Elegant and perfect for a large desk or large partner desk. One can’t go wrong with Maitland-Smith!!
