***UPDATE: Not quite a year later and these chairs have faded and deteriorated! They wicker did not soften and still has a scratchy feel to them. See photos attached*** Chairs arrived two per a box. They were a bit difficult to un-pack, lots of glued hardboard, flimsy styrofoam, and packing paper. I was able to put them together by myself and it was fairly easy after figuring out the first one. The hardest part was removing the stubborn stickers that labeled each part, A,B,C,D,etc. The wooden arms are smooth and beautiful but the wicker is surprisingly a bit scratchy. If that doesnt soften, Ill need to add cushions. The seat depth is long. Im 57 female and can sit comfortably all the way to the back but shorter folks might need a pillow behind them if they want their feet to touch the ground. They sit a bit lower to the ground than I anticipated but I have placed them around our fire pit so they work well. They arrived undamaged except for a scratch on one of the arm rests. Hoping they stand up to rain and sun.

These chairs are beautiful, comfortable, and easy to put together! They were exactly what I was looking for to go with our fire pit and they are not too long yet very comfortable for conversation style gatherings. Great purchase and you can’t beat the price…
