Firm but comfortable. But what can you expect for a 600 couch , it looks nice to me but if you want something fancier, spend 1000 minimum. Makes a lot of noise when you put it together.

Metal Piece sticking out already - couch is less than a year old. I need to keep a cover on it, I've already poked myself and now I'm scared my dogs will.
