I purchased my shed in October. Unfortunately with the weather change I could not have it assembled until early April, come to find out the included T lock is defective and does not lock the shed. Because I am past the 30 day product window, I am told there is no resolve from company, so I have to purchase a lock to replace and have handyman return. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. Perfect for my needs. We didn’t have much wiggle room with the intended space so we were a little irritated when the length was over 4 inches longer than the dimensions said. We made it work and it came out nicely. Shed went together easily, with decent directions. I understand why the metal is covered with plastic to protect during shipping, but it peels and looks bad in time. We've had ours up for 2 winters now in Vermont, and no damage, doors and latches still work. I recommend setting this up on 2 pallets with plywood attached on top if it isn't going on a hard level surface. Tolerances are tight, and you will be happier with the result if it's on a perfectly level surface. Too bad about the peeling plastic, as it's a good looking shed for the money. This shed was super easy to assemble. I am a 5' 3" 67 year old female and it took me an hour and 45 minutes to complete. Approximately 15 minutes of that was sorting and verifying parts. The instructions suggested two people to assemble floor, and that probably would have helped, but I was able to do it myself. My foundation was already in place. Getting the sides to slide into the slots properly required a rubber mallet. Finished product holds my self-propelled snow blower and my Snow Joe battery operated snow blower with extra room.. Terry. It’s a nice shed overall. One panel was broken when I opened the package, which was disappointing, but aside from that, it’s quite good and very spacious. It's a nice looking shed, I have a smaller one of these too, you have to be careful with the panels in the sun, they will warp some which can make alignments difficult and to keep walls straight and not warped, always keep the walls completely flat and realize there are hundreds of screws into plastic that keep this shed together..
