The Guggenheim Museum in New York was originally conceived to be "a temple of spirit". The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Guggenheim Museum is one of the most significant architectural landmarks of the 20th century. Inside, the nautilus-like shape of the space leads visitors via a continuous spiral ramp extending from the seamless ground floor upwards toward the domed skylight at the top of the building.
