I ordered two of these sconces. They are even more beautiful than I expected. I have the Luminaire candles in them. I tried removing the battery cover as suggested by a few reviewers, but the candles wouldn't light. So I put them in with the battery covers in place and they look perfect. I was able to balance them in the sconce and I'm including photos. They make my room look cozy and romantic.

Can only hold real wax candles due to spike in center of candle holder. Husband cut it down so I could use battery operated candles in it.
