Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short. Love it. This is exactly the mustard color that I wanted, and the shade is the perfect tan color. The cord is also reaaaallllyyyy long, but you're able to hide the excess cord in the body of the lamp if you want. Assembly was super easy, and bulbs were easy to find. My one gripe, if I had to come up with something, is that it only has one brightness setting.
