I absolutely love this couch! The curved, modern design is exactly what I was looking for, and it gives my living room a high-end, contemporary feel. It’s comfortable, stylish, and definitely makes a statement. My only complaint is the back height and the pillows that come with it. The back sits lower than I expected, and the included pillows are too small, which made the couch look less luxurious than it could. To achieve the elevated, elegant look I wanted, I ended up purchasing larger back pillows and replacing the ones that came with it. The difference was night and day. I just wish the manufacturer included larger, fuller pillows from the start because it would make the couch look much more expensive without customers having to spend extra money. It's comfortable, but not cushiony. It seems like it's going to keep its shape over time better than other, more billowy, couches. I sprayed it with upholstery protector when it was brand new and it did well. No change in color or texture. Delivery was smooth and easy. I really appreciated having it set up for us, even though it's a pretty simple assembly. I paid over $900, which I think might be a little overpriced for the quality. I absolutely LOVE my new couch, however the delivery was not a love. After waiting all day for my piece to arrive, 3 movers got the huge box up to my apartment (I was moving furniture for them to get this box through the entrance to the living room) and after knocking into things, they put the HUGE box down & started to walk out. I said, wait, aren’t you suppose to unpack this HUG box & take it away? Answer, “no it’s just a drop off service. the box is your responsibility!” As a single woman living alone I was so upset! After over an hour just trying to open this HUGE box I was finally able to unload. I wish it was made clearer that the unloading would be my responsibility, I spent a lot to get the couch of my dreams but very unsatisfied with the delivery service that was definitely lacking! I love this couch! It is made with quality materials that feel good to the touch and is firm but not uncomfortably so. The seat height is 16 inches at its peak but is 15 inches at the seam. The assembly is really simple. You just have to slide the back of the seat into brackets on the bottom, then add the feet for the most part. This was easy to assemble, which was a pleasant surprise. Arrived in three very large boxes of varying dimensions, but could probably be taken up into a walk-up apartment more easily than a couch that comes in longer boxes or, worse, comes assembled. The cushions are a bit firmer than I hoped but its comfy and the arm height is just right for me to lie my head on. Very well-made velvet sofa. The fabric is really beautiful. You will notice that the back does come in two separate pieces as well as the base of the sofa. It does sit lower to the ground, but is very comfortable. I will use it with my Staging business and it will get a lot of use. Is on the heavier side. That can be a positive if you are using it for every day use. It is long and you could easily stretch out for a nice nap. Overall, I love the sofa. The only negative would be the separate pieces that come together to form the long sofa. I realize this is probably easier for shipping. But if placed against a wall, it is not noticeable.. Susan.
