Good Cabinet, but Plan on a Long Assembly. Overall, I’m happy with this file cabinet. Once assembled, it has a clean, modern look and provides plenty of storage without taking up a huge amount of floor space. The black finish looks nice and makes it suitable for either a home office or workspace. The biggest thing to know is that assembly is definitely time-consuming. It took about three hours to put together. The good news is that the instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are simply a lot of pieces and steps, so I would recommend setting aside a good chunk of time rather than expecting this to be a quick project. As far as quality, I wouldn’t consider this an extremely heavy-duty commercial-grade filing cabinet. The materials are a little lighter than I expected, but once everything was assembled, it felt sturdy enough for everyday home or office use. The drawers operate well, and I’m confident it will hold up just fine with normal use. I especially like the tall, narrow design because it gives you a lot of filing space without taking up much room. It also looks much nicer than a typical bulky metal filing cabinet. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase. If you don’t mind spending a few hours assembling it and aren’t expecting industrial-level construction, it’s a good-looking, functional cabinet that should serve its purpose well. Very nice file cabinet. It's very sturdy. It takes quite a bit of time to put together. I was able to put it together by myself, laying the pieces on the cardboard so that they weren't scratched. This cabinet was much needed for a very small kitchen. I purchased the blue (its really teal) and I love it. It looks just like the photo. Overall the cabinet is a good quality. Finish is a black texture that hides finger prints well. Door is solid with one keyed lock securing it. Door is mounted on internal, spring loaded posts top and bottom. You can remove the door if needed. A nice touch is the 5 internal shelves on the door back. They measure 9.5" x 1.6". Front door is solid feeling. Side panels have some flex. Back panel seems to flex more than the sides. This is a concern since you mount the cabinet using the back panel. I added large 2" washers to the bolts going into the wall. This helps but I plan to watch how much weight I place in the cabinet.. Judi. Twin Cities, MN. Mon Sep 28 2026
