It’s a good, high quality knife overall, but I have other knives in the under $100 range that are comparable or better. So while it’s a good product, I am not convinced it has the best value proposition. Pros: very sharp; nice weight on the handle - pretty much the opposite of flimsy; great size knife for everyday cooking - does a perfect job of chopping veggies, cutting meats and chicken. Appears to be high quality that will last over time although seeing as I’ve only had it for a few weeks, I can’t comment on longevity yet. Cons: just after a few weeks of very light use, the knife did not pass the tomato test - it was very tough to cut through even cherry tomatoes. I waited too long to pull the plug on obtaining good knives. I'll have one more to buy, the next size up from this one so I don't have to use the chef knife or this knife for cutting a large apple. They are great to handle, very sharp, and obviously well made. Glad I didn't keep waiting. My other knife was cheap and old and I couldn't sharpen it anymore. Very happy, but also now really paying attention because it is extremely sharp. I cut a lot of raw ginger and sometimes the knife would slip. I don't want that with this one.
