The cabinet is very sturdy and exactly what I needed. Assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. The illustrations were especially helpful and made the process quick and efficient. My only complaint is the stickers provided to cover the screw holes on the sides of the cabinet. By the second day, several of them were already curling and peeling off. A small felt or plastic insert designed to fit into the holes might have been a more durable and attractive solution. I love this four drawer cabinet situation. It certainly is a space saver and holds a good amount of things. I had a bit of an issue assembling it, but once I realized the first tier, the rest became much more easy to assemble (the instructional pictures were clear, I just did not understand them at first). The drawers are pretty deep, and that is good. A caveat however, is that I thought the drawers would be taller than they are because the design is so slim, but that is not the case. The finish on the edges of the wood could definitely use improvement, as it needs better coverage. Also, note that the back of the cabinet is not real wood — it’s a very light, thin material that feels more like paper. This might matter depending on where you plan to place it. the bookcase is great. the color is slightly off from the pictures but i expected that based on reviews and it matches my other furniture as a result. maybe have more ergonomic philips head screwdriver ready because the one it comes with hurt my palm quite a bit. only complaint is the mechanism to keep the bookshelf from tilting was confusing. im just going to get a different earthquake strap.. Love this cabinet. The quality is really good for what it is, and no cardboard for the back. It's hard board with the same white finish as the cabinet. Plenty of parts and even a screwdriver included. I'm an active woman, 75, used to putting things together, and managed it by myself. Just took my time and thought through every step for the best outcome. Everything fit together perfectly, no misplaced holes, etc. I agree with another reviewer that the wheel on the door can be a bit balky, but it's fine and helps keep things balanced.
