Love this cabinet. The quality is really good for what it is, and no cardboard for the back. It's hard board with the same white finish as the cabinet. Plenty of parts and even a screwdriver included. I'm an active woman, 75, used to putting things together, and managed it by myself. Just took my time and thought through every step for the best outcome. Everything fit together perfectly, no misplaced holes, etc. I agree with another reviewer that the wheel on the door can be a bit balky, but it's fine and helps keep things balanced. The cabinet is very sturdy and exactly what I needed. Assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. The illustrations were especially helpful and made the process quick and efficient. My only complaint is the stickers provided to cover the screw holes on the sides of the cabinet. By the second day, several of them were already curling and peeling off. A small felt or plastic insert designed to fit into the holes might have been a more durable and attractive solution. OK..Well I went back and forth with cabinets...Studied them all for days, and tried to remove the ones I found that were metal. Looks great! It was easy to assemble but hard to do the screws. The paint is a bit easy to mess up if your screwsscrewdriver slips in those tight areas Also, the doors are very slightly misaligned so they don’t close perfectly. I suspect that it can be fixed by raisinglowering the leveling thingies at the bottom but one had to flip the whole thing after it’s all done to do that and that didn’t seem like worth the effort. Pine with a baked on finish which looks fantastic. Assembly is simple and the directions are straightforward. Everything aligned perfectly and it took about 45 min to assemble both boxes. We removed a stack washer/dryer from a space in our 1/2 bath. This cabinet fit perfect. Assembly was fairly easy, I did it myself, had to take a closer look at some instruction and thought “I hope I’m right”. All said and done I finished in a couple hours. Fits perfect, doesn’t feel extremely sturdy but we have it between a wall & another built-in. I think I would definitely secure it to the rear wall with the brackets supplied. I decided on this cabinet because of the positive reviews, and am so glad I did! I purchased two, and they are well built, there was no damage, and assembly was straightforward. My son (who is a licensed builder) put the first one together in 1 hour, and the second in 30 minutes. Using a power tool for the screws made it go quite quickly. My son was quite familiar with these types of hinges so didn’t have any trouble, but there are instructions as to how to adjust these to get proper closure of the doors. Thanks also to Prepac for including extra hardware - I have put together similar items in which much time was wasted looking for similar nails or screws because not enough was included.
