After searching several high end stores for end tables and not finding what we wanted, we found these. They were the simple style we wanted, perfect dimensions and the stain color was also what we wanted. They arrived on time and were easy to assemble, with one exception. There were no pre drilled holes in the legs where the bottom shelf attached to the legs with four screws. We struggled with the first table, barely getting the screws in without stripping them. The reviews on this table are all over the place, so I wanted to share my honest experience. Quality 1010. This table is solid wood, very sturdy, and surprisingly heavy. It feels well-made and substantial. Packaging 1010. It arrived extremely well protected with no damage. Assembly 1010. Assembly couldn’t have been easier—you just attach the legs. As for the appearance, this is where I’m a little torn. I don’t love the finish. Instead of looking naturally rustic, it has more of a whitewashed, chalky look, and the wood has a slight pink undertone. In my opinion, the finish cheapens what is otherwise a beautiful table. Ironically, I actually prefer the look of the unfinished underside. That said, the table has definitely grown on me. I think it pairs beautifully with white upholstered dining chairs, and the overall shape is timeless and elegant. I also chose the 84-inch size after reading reviews that the smaller version looked a bit undersized compared to the chunky pedestal legs, and I’m really glad I sized up. Overall, while I’m not completely in love with the finish, I’m still happy with my purchase because the craftsmanship, quality, and design are excellent.
