This is a really nice Bed. I waited to do a review. To give it a bit of time to make sure the bed sturdy. Which surprisingly it is. You can add box spring which as you can see I did. We bought this bed for one of the bedrooms in our new house. The boxes were manageable, and assembly was straightforward to handle on my own, especially when lining up the side rails and attaching the headboard. The instructions were fairly clear, and most of the hardware was labeled, but a few steps took longer than expected because the frame had to be kept square before tightening everything. Once assembled, the bed looked cleaner and more finished than a basic metal frame, and the upholstered headboard made the room feel warmer without being overly decorative. The fabric feels decent for the price and has a simple, neutral look that should work with different bedding. I also liked being able to adjust the headboard height to better match the mattress. I haven’t noticed squeaking or shifting of slats during normal use. The headboard is comfortable enough to lean against with pillows, but it isn’t heavily padded.
