It is actually pretty comfortable if you don’t sit on the seam. It is firm but softens over time. The feel of the material is soft, which I like. It isn’t slick, but feels like worn leather. It is holding up beautifully — no problems. I paid about $250 more than the current price. So this is a good deal. I feel that it was a good investment and I am happy! Very pleased with this versatile, convertible sleeper! It arrived quickly and was quite easy to set up and assemble. The back cushions take a little bit to expand fully but after 24 hours, they were just right! Comfortable, easily convertible and is great for overnight guests.
