It is very easy to assemble. While sitting on it, it is firm which I like it. Little disappoint is, it's small in width in sense of sit position. As for example I have other brand sofa almost in the same price range. It has more sit room and space back rest in position but this new one seems to be tightly on this case. This is a nice couch for the price. It looks great in our space. It came in a box and we had to put it together, which was a little tricky. The cushions were especially hard because we had to stuff them, and the cushions did not fit in the covers easily.
