We LOVE our new bar stools! We bought a new house with a really high counter and it needed stools. Our counter is 47 inches tall and we bought the 36 inch stools. At first, I was thinking they were too high, but after we got used to it, we are comfortable eating in this arrangement. I still would probably take two inches off if I could but my husband and I use them for every meal. We also bought a new dining set but we’ve only used it when we have visitors. The gold frame is shiny and bright, and in case you were wondering, the seats are a faux leather. Also, although the chairs are stated at being 26”H, I’d say they’re closer to 27”H when you include the fact that you’re sitting on the cushion (which doesn’t deflate entirely to the stated 26”H).
