Exactly what I needed for the reading corner. Comes with the ability to hardwire instead of plug in, but in our case we preferred the plug in to avoid calling an electrician. My only complaint, which is not a feature of the sconce but rather my own problem, is that I put it in a spot where the cord is fully visible, I need to figure out a way to hide that better.
