Even though the video killed the radio star, we love the 80s!  A decade of big hair, synth-pop, cassettes, and fashion still influences the runway today. Cheech!  We also love the tech-inspired, slightly gaudy electronics from this period, so we had sweet dreams of creating our take on an 80s entertainment system.  Introducing the sweet child of ours: the Eclipse. The Eclipse is a complete 3-speed turntable audio system right out of the box. Just plug and play your favorite 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM vinyl records, cassettes, AM/FM radio stations, and CDs. Because technology has improved a little bit in the past 30 years, you can also play music loaded on an SD card, or thumb drive, and stream your digital music thanks to a built-in Bluetooth receiver. Word!  We even included a remote control for you to use when you're dancing in the dark. Don't have a cow! Of course, you can make mixtapes as well. Needless to say, the Eclipse is butter, baby!

The directions are pictures only, so must pay close attention. My daughter and I put it up in a couple of hours. the open storage front is great except that my collection of records are old and edges are fraying - I've had them for years, and I'm not too thrilled at looking at them, so not sure if I'll be keeping it. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the doors are difficult to open and close, they get stuck easily and are flimsy so it feels like they will break over time. Getting them to hang straight and close smoothly required trial and error. A second pair of hands is highly recommended for this specific step. This cabinet took a long time to receive. It arrived without any type of assembly instructions. The quality seems very good, and it will be a great addition to my audio rack system. I have finally figured out the assembly using the photos on the Wayfair website. I have not figured out how the shelves are intended to be mounted yet.
