It had 1,000 pieces and 1,000 steps to put it together, but it was pretty easy - just time consuming. It’s quite sturdy feeling and looks great. My only complaint is that the locking mechanism that keeps only one drawer open at a time is kind of loud and clanky. This solid wood chest will give your room a warm and rustic look. This design features five, spacious 5” deep drawers. Made of 100% solid wood from renewable forests, this chest will last for many years and has minimal impact on the environment. The finish is designed to accentuate the unique grain, knots, and natural textures in the wood panels; and each piece is sanded and distressed by the hand, leading to variations in the color and texture that make every unit unique. This distressed finish is very durable and easy to touch up.

We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). A little wobbly, but best changing table I could find that wasn’t horrendous looking. I have in my living room. You can keep it after you’re done using it as a changing table, shelves are very deep, so I’ll probably sell it and use a regular bookshelf instead.
