This item is 4 separate pieces. It was very easy to put together and arrived very quickly. I expected the drawers to be shallow given the depth of the piece so expect that. The shelf in the larger pieces is stationary but is adjustable in the smaller side pieces. I was worried the oak/oak would have a yellow undertone in it but it does not. It's a large and very well-built piece. The storage underneath is okay, but I needed a low sideboard as a sofa table for storage. Lined drawers nice for silverware and length good for placemats. I think this is a great piece for the price point. I was looking for something with drawers up top and adjustable storage underneath, and this was the perfect fit. I was nervous the wood color would be too dark for what I wanted, but I think it looks much better in person than some of the listing photos suggest. This side board is gorgeous in peron. I purchased two of them to serve as a long TV console with the TV mounted on the wall just above it. The color is rich. The shelves are spacious. I added a few wooden baskets inside to keep stuff neat. Note, the entire piece isnt wooden but the legs and front are. It took the installer about 2hrs to put both pieces together.
