We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. This umbrella is just great! Im extremely happy with the material quality, size and features. The swindle design is very easy to operate and allows for a perfect shade throughout the day. It was also really easy to set up (I did it by myself in less than 30 minutes). Highly recommend! PS. This was a replacement for our original adjustable cantilever umbrella that broke within 2 months (and was not returnable or refundable). In spite of that bad experience, I decided to try again but went with a non-adjustable one this time This one can be raised or lowered and thats it. So it has far fewer moving parts that can break. Works perfectly and was super easy to setup - although quite heavy, so I suggest being 2 people for the initial setup. Also, note that it requires a sturdy base - sold separately, which is the main reason I still bought from this manufacturer a 2nd time since I already had the base from the first umbrella that broke..
